History:
This batch of 5 was new to Metroline in 2016 for route 98. They were hailed as the first electric double deckers in the world, although that title was already held by some other vehicles. They were however, the first electric double decks in London.
They were withdrawn in late 2019, with little fanfare. They re-emerged once more in February 2021, with UNO. They now work routes 692 and 699.
